Getting [RPC Fault faultString="Security error accessing url" faultCode="Channel.Security.Error" faultDetail="Destination: DefaultHTTPS"] error in Upload Tool

This is a known problem and related to the setting under Setup > Administration Setup > Company Profile > My Domain.
If you set the Redirect Policy to be the first option on the page (Redirected to the same page within the domain), then this does present an issue for the Upload tool. If you set it to the recommended "Not Redirected", the issue goes away. Please confirm if you have the first setting in place.
